Basic Information of LED Channel Letter

This is a 3D printed channel letter S, it is a three-dimensionally fabricated letter with a channel back, typically used exterior or interior as storefront, brand logo, business name, or wayfinding, etc. This illuminated channel letter is comprised of three parts, the face panel and side wall as an entire first part, the bottom panel as second part, the LED strip light as third part. The face panel is a trimmed face with 2 different colors, opaque black and translucent blue, the side wall is with a single color opaque black, the light can not be through the opaque color but can be through the translucent color, so this channel letter is front-lit, but not side-lit or back-lit. However, we can make it side-lit or back-lit when it is required.

The trimmed face panel with 2 colors is not made by UV printing, not solid acrylic panel, not liquid acrylic with UV curing, it is made by 3D printing. The side wall with single color is not made by a bending machine, it is also made by 3D printing. The bottom panel can be made by a laser cutting machine with PVC panel, or it can be made by 3D printing as well. The 3D printing material is also called 3D printing filament PETG-S from the R&D department of IROGA 3D, it is designed to make all kinds of 3D printed products under the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) mode, but especially good for outdoor illuminated letters and signages, because PETG-S is weather resistant and with perfect light diffusing effect for LED strip lights and LED module lights.

As mentioned above, this trimmed letter S is made by a 3D printing machine with 3D slicing software, including the face panel and side wall, even the bottom panel can be made by the 3D printing machine if you need.
